Come again tomorrow if it were possible!

Hello Nicola and Andrew, thankyou for your last email. We really enjoyed the holiday stay with you, the lodge and the grounds are a credit to you. Everybody was so kind and helpful around and about, the children loved visiting the chickens everyday and being in the grounds  and lodge. I have tried to give you a review,  but have failed 3 times so if you want to do one on my behalf please feel free to do so. We will visit again at some stage, “tomorrow if we’re possible “,regards  karl and family.

Idyllic week in April cottage

Cathy Savery 2 October at 09:45 We have just spent an idyllic week in April cottage. A perfect peaceful location. We can’t wait to come back and bring the rest of the family. Thank-you Nicola and Andrew for creating and maintaining such a beautiful home from home. Cathy and Tony Savery .

Rose Cottage- Great holiday

Thanks for a great holiday cottage.  we enjoyed the quiet placing of the cottage also well equipped with most things. We enjoyed the area for walking so will be coming back again in 2017.  Also very convenient to walk into Minehead most evenings for a meal. Regards  Martin

Pine Lodge- Magnificent views

The lodge, the situation of the park and the overall cleanliness and the magnificent views were excellent.  It was lovely and quiet, nobody bothered you.  The thought that you have put into providing details of walks from the lodge were very thoughtful and helpful.  The gardens and space were thoroughly enjoyable.  The area is outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return later in the year if the same lodge is available.  We would highly recommend your holiday park and would say it was an excellent place to stay. SSHHHH..don’t tell anyone about this place, if word gets out we will have to wait years for a booking

Reviewed by: Fairman49 from London Reviewed on: 10/26/2015 for their stay in 10/2015 Woodcombe Lodges & Cottages-Cedar Lodge Just perfect. Great accomodation, perfect quiet location minutes away from Minehead and Exmoor. Our extended family stayed in the HOLLY chalet which sleeps 10. Four bedrooms. Three bathrooms, (one a wet room and great for senior family members), large lounge, fully equipped kitchen. Wifi, TV, DVD. Large perfectly tended grounds for the kids to play…playroom with table tennis. This place is a real find and I think we were lucky to be able to book our week in October. Great hosts too, nothing too much trouble. Oh, must not forget the free autum apples!! We will be eating apples pies for the next fortnight.

Plenty of room to move around and a nice outlook over the countryside

Dear Nicola      We just wanted to say we enjoyed our holiday with you very much. The pine lodge suited us down to the ground. Plenty of room to move around and a nice outlook over the countryside. We will be back but don’t know when.

Thank you so much for providing such first class accommodation for us and our dogs. I have to say we all had a wonderful time exploring the villages and towns, and were lucky with the weather that week. Impressed with Andrews little walking instructions from the lodge- managed 3/4! You are lucky to have such a beautiful place. Hope to see you again.

Exmoor is the star attraction

When our Lake District holiday plans did not materialise we looked to the South West and stumbled upon ‘Woodcombe Lodges’. Trip advisor reviews were impressive and we found ourselves with our small labradoodle ‘Milly’ in ‘Yew Tree Lodge’ one of just six lodges on this small, owner run site. The holiday did not disappoint. The development sits on a hill just a mile outside Minehead with beautiful rural views of Exmoor. Andrew and Nicola, the owners, are discrete but friendly and helpful with any questions which you may have. Often ‘dog friendly’ means rather basic but these lodges provide more than adequate holiday accommodation and the site is well landscaped and very private. Exmoor itself is the star attraction and the highlight of our holiday was a visit to the beautiful, but deserted Selworthy beach which requires a descent down a steep scree slope. This area rivals the Lakes for sheer beauty with the added bonus that there are no crowds. We highly recommend Woodcombe Lodges but don’t tell too many people about Exmoor – we like it as it is.

Andrew & Nicola, A note to say thanks for a brilliant (last) week. The accommodation was great, the location immaculate, and the views stunning. Not sure how you organised the superb weather ?…but organisation and arrangements were painless..and stay very enjoyable. An excellent location, ‘out of town’ but close enough for convenience. Being able to bring the dog made it even more pleasant and stress free. So thanks again and we hope to re-visit asap.

Dear Andrew and Nicola, We tried to complete the tripadviser questionnaire but fell at the last hurdle so we thought we’d let you know we would have said very kind things about your accommodation.  We really enjoyed our stay at Pine Lodge. The lodge was very clean and comfortable and was located in a lovely spot overlooking the beautiful countryside. We really enjoyed sitting out on the verandah enjoying the view. We must commend you on the grounds which were immaculate. Yours sincerely
